Where cron runs for bots
- Cloudflare Workers:
[triggers] crons = ["*/15 * * * *"]in wrangler.toml; always UTC. - GitHub Actions:
on: schedule: - cron: "0 6 * * 1"(UTC, may be delayed under load). - Linux crontab / systemd timers: server local time unless configured otherwise.
- n8n, Zapier, Make: schedule triggers use the workspace timezone setting.
Avoid the top of the hour
Thousands of jobs fire at minute 0. Pick an odd minute (for example 7 or 43) to reduce contention and rate-limit errors on shared APIs.
